Slow Cooked Barbeque Beef
Makes 8 to 10 Servings
Ingredients
- 2 pounds lean stew meat
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 cup pitted prunes
- 1 cup all-natural barbeque sauce
- 8 to 10 whole wheat hamburger buns, toasted
Directions
- Add the meat, onion, prunes, and barbeque sauce to the slow cooker and stir to combine. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
- When the meat is done, use two forks to pull the meat and prunes into shredded pieces.
- Divide the mixture evenly between the hamburger buns and serve.
